📦 About the Product
This product is suitable for children aged 3 and above. It uses a gentle formula with no added flavors and is low-allergen friendly. Please refer to the directions on the packaging or consult a pediatrician.
The Sun Stick (sweet orange flavor) is the Morning formula, with beta-glucan, EpiCor and vitamin C plus LGG and Bb-12 — designed for daytime use, focused on supporting immune activity. The Moon Stick (cranberry flavor) is the Evening formula, with GABA, magnesium and zinc plus Bi-07 and HN001 — designed for bedtime, focused on relaxation, restful sleep and bone development.
Yes. The Sun Stick and Moon Stick are complete formulas in their own right, and each provides its own benefits when taken alone. Used together, however, they make the most of the timed-nutrition concept with around-the-clock support.
We suggest 1-2 Sun Stick packs during the day and 1-2 Moon Stick packs in the evening. Adjust the amount based on your child's age and needs.
Yes. Take 1-2 stick packs at a time — they can be taken straight from the stick. The Sun Stick comes in sweet orange and the Moon Stick in cranberry, both flavors kids love. They can also be dissolved in 100 ml of warm water (below 40°C) and stirred until even. Avoid using water that is too hot.
No. The postbiotics (inactivated cultures) in the product are highly stable and tolerate heat and acid well. Simply store it sealed in a cool, dry place. The shelf life is 24 months.
The shelf life is 24 months. Please check the production date and expiry date printed on the packaging. Once a stick pack is opened, keep it sealed and consume it promptly.
This product is designed mainly for children. Pregnant or breastfeeding women who wish to take it should consult a doctor or dietitian first.
The formula contains no common allergens (such as milk, soy, wheat or nuts) and is low-allergen friendly. The ingredient list on the packaging is authoritative. If your child has a particular allergic constitution, consult a doctor before use.
🧬 About the Ingredients
LGG (Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG) is one of the most extensively studied probiotic strains in the world, with more than 1,200 published studies and over 300 human clinical trials. Its well-documented roles include supporting gut-microbiota balance, helping maintain gut-barrier function, helping manage occasional diarrhea, and supporting respiratory-tract health. Each Soluna Doc Sun Stick contains 2.0×10⁹ CFU of LGG.
Bb-12 (Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis Bb-12) is one of the most widely used Bifidobacterium strains worldwide and a classic strain with a long history of safe use in infants. It tolerates acid and bile well and has been studied for helping with both diarrhea and constipation, supporting sIgA secretion and immune function. Each Soluna Doc Sun Stick contains 2.0×10⁹ CFU of Bb-12.
EpiCor is a postbiotic ingredient developed by Cargill in the United States, obtained by fermenting whole cells of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and then inactivating them. Its studied effects include rapidly activating NK cells, helping raise sIgA levels, supporting balanced immune responses and helping balance the gut microbiota. It is heat-stable and acid-stable, with a safety profile suitable for all age groups.
Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is an amino acid that occurs naturally in the human body and serves as an important inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. Supplementing with an appropriate amount of GABA can help calm the nervous system and support relaxation and sleep. GABA is listed in China's catalog of new food ingredients, and its safety is recognized at the national level. The Soluna Doc Moon Stick contains an appropriate amount of GABA together with magnesium and zinc to help children get high-quality sleep.
Beta-glucan is a functional polysaccharide derived mainly from yeast cell walls and a natural immune modulator. It is recognized by receptors on the surface of immune cells (such as macrophages), helping activate innate immunity and supporting the body's defenses against pathogens. The Soluna Doc Sun Stick contains yeast beta-glucan together with EpiCor postbiotic and vitamin C — a golden triangle for daytime immune support.
Zinc (added as zinc citrate) is involved in the activity of more than 300 enzymes and is an essential mineral for children's growth and development, immune function and sense of taste. Magnesium (added as magnesium gluconate) supports normal nerve and muscle function, contributes to bone health and helps with sleep quality. Taken in the evening, the two work with GABA to support deep sleep and bone development.
🔬 The Science of Postbiotics
Postbiotics are preparations of inanimate microorganisms and/or their components that confer a health benefit on the host (formally defined by ISAPP, the International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics, in 2021). Their core characteristic is that they are obtained by inactivating probiotics while retaining the biological activity of cell structures and metabolites, and they are heat-tolerant, acid-tolerant and highly stable.
Probiotics are live microorganisms that must remain alive through storage; postbiotics are inactivated microorganisms and their components that work without needing to be alive. The advantages of postbiotics are higher stability (no refrigeration needed), a better safety profile, and efficacy that does not depend on live-cell survival rates.
Yes. Inactivated cells still retain intact cell-wall structures (including peptidoglycan and lipoteichoic acid), which can be recognized by immune cells and help activate immune responses. Multiple clinical studies have confirmed that inactivated bacteria have clear effects in modulating the gut microbiota and supporting immune barriers, with a strong safety profile.
Three-in-one means a single product contains probiotics (live beneficial microorganisms), prebiotics (food ingredients that feed probiotics, such as fructooligosaccharides and stachyose) and postbiotics (inactivated microorganisms and their components). The three work together: probiotics provide live cultures that can colonize the gut, prebiotics "feed" them, and postbiotics directly help modulate immunity and the gut barrier — a complete gut-microbiota support system.
Timed nutrition (chrono-nutrition) means supplying the nutrients the body needs according to its circadian rhythm. Children's development follows a clear daily rhythm — daytime is dominated by energy supply and immune activity, while nighttime is dominated by tissue repair and bone growth (growth-hormone secretion peaks between 22:00 and 2:00). Soluna Doc designed its Morning Boost (Sun Stick) and Evening Calm (Moon Stick) dual formulas around this principle.
